Eilat - Telfed Reagional Committee aranged a Get-Together on February 18th at which they welcomed new arivals

 
Eilat "Chaverschaft" Evening
 
The Eilat regional committee arranged a "get-together in the evening of February 18, 2009 as a chaverschaft evening and also to introduce the new arrivals to Eilat (Olim) to the Vatikim.
 
Our sincere thanks go to Fonda Dubb for her untiring support in contacting so many to ensure that the evening would be the great success that it was and also for all her hard work in preparing and arranging the wonderful tasty spread enjoyed by all. It was really a work of art the way Fonda presented it and the food (as we have come to expect from Fonda) looked as good as it tasted.
 
Fonda gave a report thanking the committee and Gloria and Norman Segal for their assistance to the Olim.
 
We had a pretty good turnout of almost 40 people and those who did not attend missed a fabulous evening.
 
We were delighted to welcome the TELFED chairman and his wife Maish and Jocelyn Isaacson. Maish gave us a brief on TELFED's activities.
 
Colin Porter played his guitar and we all joined in when he sang a few typical South African songs.
