Information Bulletin to the Kehilah Tomechet Members (a Raanana-based service to the community)

Shalom to all of our members,
For our upcoming meetings, we will take advantage of the nice weather and enjoy the fragrance of the end of Spring before the coming of the Summer heat waves.
Please, write down the dates below. We made this program for you. Your participation is very important to us!

1-Cinema Club
 We are going to screen a selected movie. Mrs Nitza Ben Tzvi will lead the discussion after the film.

2-Field Trip
A couple of days before “Yom Yerushalaim” we will go on a guided tour to our Capital City: after a morning stop  in Latrun, we’ll continue to Tel-Chatulah, listen to the stories  of the caravans that arrived to Jerusalem, and enjoy the spectacular view. We’ll pass through the picturesque alleys of Nachalat Shebah and observe the wall pictures describing life in Jerusalem on Agreepas Street. 

We will arrive at the commemoration place for the liberation of Jerusalem at the Ammunition Hill Museum. We’ll learn about the battle fought by our Paratrooper Brigade and other very interesting stories. Our meat-based lunch will be held at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on the Mount Scopus Campus.

Cost: 130 shekels (members), 160 shekels (guests). The price includes bus, guide and lunch.
Departure location: Yad L’banim and different bus stops along Ahuza.

4-Kehila Tomechet Hosts –the Main Stage for Raanana’s Seniors
Volunteers of Sherut Leumi will perform Shavuot songs for us. Following, Arik Bloom will talk about “Humor Strengthens the Soul”. The lecture will be accompanied by a unique Powerpoint presentation in order to show us how important humor is. It will make you smile and bring optimism to your life.

11- Vacation in Tiberias for the Members of Kehilah Tomechet
On June 20th we will spend three nights and four days in a five stars hotel in Tiberias. Tours, sailing on Lake Kinneret, and lots of activities will be offered by the hotel. For more details, see the attached sheet.
