A new website www.higher4hire.saii.org.il was launched today by Telfed (The South African Zionist Federation - Israel) together with Maurice Singer ( Aliyah Employment Consultant). This innovative project is designed to give opportunities to people who need to earn extra income over and above their salary, pension, or savings.

Realising that the older you get the more difficult it is to get regular work, Maurice Singer, the initiator of “Job Clubs in Israel” has developed an idea matching people offering their services with those needing such services. "Telfed were very sympathetic to the idea and together we hope that persons in need of, for example, a small repair or a translation will contact our website and search for anyone offering these services,”said Maurice.

The site is in English and Hebrew and could provide a real solution for new and veteran Olim, as well as anyone else and of any age wanting to earn some extra   money.

“Telfed is pleased to be partnering in this project,” said Telfed’s Chairman Dave Bloom.  “ We hope that it will provided a much-needed solution for new and veteran olim, no matter where they originate from, who wish to supplement their income and at the same time look forward to the support from the wider community in Israel in recruiting and supporting the services being offered,” he said.
