S.A. Jewish delegation feels positive about Motlanthe meeting

AS ISRAEL’S unpopular offensive in Gaza began winding down and with the
Jewish community throughout the country still grappling with the local fallout,
the senior leadership of the SAJBD met with President Kgalema Motlanthe and
members of his government in Pretoria last Friday. The meeting was the first between the Jewish community leadership and President Motlanthe since the latter’s
appointment as President in September last year.
