Telfed awards Goldberg Trust Scholarships to beneficiaries from Beit Halochem

Ten scholarships from the Goldberg Trust Fund were awarded to beneficiaries of Beit Halochem in a recent ceremony at Telfed's offices in Raanana. The current chairman of the Fund committee Dave Bloom introduced the recipients to staff and volunteers at Telfed including Dorron Kline and Susan Sharon who gave short presentations on the organisations activities. Nick Alhadeff gave some of the history of the Goldberg family from Zimbabwe and their generous contribution to education in Israel.

Each recipient gave a short background on their connection to Beit Halochem and what they were currently studying. Susan organised the excellent and moving event which enabled Telfed to engage personally with the scholarship recipients. For pictures see
