Telfed Regional Representative, Roy Scher, meets Israel Encounter in Jerusalem

I was invited by Telfed to deliver a talk to groups of high-school students from South Africa who came here on the 2011 – 2012 Israel Encounter programme. It was inspiring to see such a large group (36 +150) of high school students from King David and Hertzlia.

I spoke to them about the wonderful work which has been done by Telfed, as well as the new strategic planning process: “Telfed on the Move”. I shared with them the importance of living in Israel, encouraging them to consider starting their university studies in Israel on the MASA programme.

At the end of my talk two students came to ask me for a business card and to get advice regarding coming to study in Israel after Matric. Josh said:"I am very excited about this trip, and serious about coming to study here as well as making Aliyah"
