The annual Telfed Volunteer awards ceremony will take place at Beth Protea, Herzliya, on Tuesday 23rd December 2008, at 7 pm.

TELFED VOLUNTEER AWARDS CEREMONY 2008
(i) THE BLANCHE ISAACSON MEMORIAL AWARD FOR VOLUNTEERS AGED 18 – 30 YEARS
(ii) THE TELFED AWARD FOR 2007 SPONSORED BY BARNEY MARK AND FAMILY
ALL NOMINATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED BY INDEPENDENT ADJUDICATORS
AND WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A SPECIAL HANNUKA COMMUNITY FUNCTION ON TUESDAY 23 DECEMBER AT BETH PROTEA, AT 8 P.M.
The second award, sponsored by Barney Mark and family, is open to anyone in the S.A. community who has done outstanding work in a voluntary capacity in the greater community in Israel. The winner will receive a cash prize. 6 worthy Southern Africans have benefitted from the Mark family generosity since 2001.

In both cases, winners will be chosen by a panel of independent judges.
