Telfed welcomes Olim in Modiin
Submitted by admin on Thu, 10/04/2008 - 06:14.
Welcome party for new SA Olim in Modi'in
The Telfed Modi'in Regional Committee held a welcoming evening, for the latest arrivals to Modi'in, at the home of Danny and Renee Kingsley in the Buchman neighbourhood on Saturday night, 5 April 2008. It was a wonderful and heartwarming experience to see all our new Olim as well as many of our older Olim.
Our committee members, who once again, proved that they are a unit, made the evening possible and we were able to welcome our newest arrivals in style and introduce them to our community. The turnout was amazing as were the many cakes, cookies and drinks!
"I want to thank Telfed and their amazing committee here in Modi'in. Without them I'm not sure how we would have managed during our first few months of Aliyah!" said Lynn Lipchin, one of new South African Olim to this fastest growing city in Israel.
Dorron Kline stopped by with his daughters; spoke, as only Dorron knows how, to the new olim, bringing greetings from the Telfed Chairman, Maish Isaacson and re-iterating the importance of Telfed, who they are and what they do for the Southern African Olim community.
Following are the new arrivals, :
Grant and Jodi sheer
Lynn and Leon Lipchin
Sharon and Howard Tolkin
