Their second son, Captain Daniel Perez, was killed in action on October 7th. Their other son, Yonatan, also an IDF soldier, was injured whilst fighting on October 7, several weeks before his planned wedding. Despite his injury, the wedding went ahead, and they recently gave birth to a baby boy.
