Scholarships Based on Financial Need
This scholarship is allocated according to financial need, with pre-determined criteria ensuring the impartial allocation of scholarships.
Students who apply for scholarships based on financial need may also apply for a PRAS volunteering scholarship as these programmes are independent of one another. You may be eligible to receive both. Those who meet the scholarship criteria and volunteer for PRAS will be given preference.
Only students of Southern African heritage (1st and 2nd generations only) are invited to apply. Scholarship amounts vary according to need, up to a maximum of 4,500NIS.
A student has to study a minimum of 8 weekly academic hours throughout the academic year.
Please note!!! Should you be found eligible to receive Telfed’s financial need based scholarship, attendance in an annual scholarship ceremony which will take place in March 2025 is mandatory.
