Marketing and Communications Manager – Jerusalem (June 2024)

Position Overview: M² is looking for a talented Marketing and Communications Manager skilled in digital strategy, social media management, and effective collaboration. This role is central to driving M²’s marketing efforts, enhancing our digital presence, and aligning our communication strategies with our organizational objectives. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and offers a unique opportunity to impact a dynamic team at the forefront of experiential Jewish education.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Content Creation and Management (70%):
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance digital engagement and audience growth across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and potentially more.
    • Produce and manage content across social media, blogs, emails, and M² websites, focusing on engaging storytelling to capture the audience’s interest.
    • Expand and maintain distribution lists to broaden M²’s reach and engagement.
  • Marketing Management Support (30%):
    • Manage digital assets, handle marketing-related vendors, and streamline processes to support marketing goals efficiently.
    • Oversee the production of marketing materials and coordination of marketing efforts for various events.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Excellent command of English with superior writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experienced in social media strategy and management, particularly on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
  • Proficient in analyzing data to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Strong collaborative and project management skills, capable of working effectively across different teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com, Canva, WordPress, and Campaign Monitor is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Jewish educational landscape and North American Jewish community is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field.
