Do you love working with young adults and building cross-cultural communities?

The Shalom Hartman Institute and Hevruta Fellowship are seeking a passionate and experienced program guide to join our pre-military program in Jerusalem.

About the Fellowship

The Hevruta Fellowship is an exciting opportunity for young women from Israel and the USA to build a shared community in Jerusalem. Through seminary study, social involvement, and community life, participants develop a strong sense of personal and social responsibility.

The Role

As a program guide, you will play a vital role in supporting the Fellows’ journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating community building activities and group discussions
  • Providing individual guidance and support to program participants
  • Overseeing the daily program schedule
  • Coordinating and managing community projects
  • Upholding the program’s values and procedures


  • Experience and passion for working with young adults
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in leadership or group facilitation (a plus)
  • Familiarity with Diaspora Judaism (a plus)

Start Date: August 20, 2024
