Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of the sales team. Your primary responsibility is to identify and qualify potential leads, initiating the sales process and setting the stage for successful deal closures. You will be at the forefront of our sales efforts (pre-sales stage), engaging with prospects, and ensuring a seamless handover to the Sales Executives.
You will be responsible for generating new leads through outbound calls and social media referrals and responsible for maintaining relationships with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads and target accounts.
- Utilize various tools and channels to generate new leads, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
Lead Qualification:
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs and qualify them based on established criteria.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of our products or services to potential customers (pitching).
- Responsible for customers’ research presentation.
Outreach and Communication:
- Initiate contact with leads through personalized emails, calls, and other communication channels.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through regular follow-ups and nurturing.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with potential partners from the lead stage to the contract.
- Preparing commercial and pricing documents
- Providing prompt responses to all new leads and potential customers.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Work closely with Sales Executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
- Provide valuable insights from prospect interactions to enhance sales strategies.
- Participating at conferences; assisting with setting up meetings and follow up on leads generated from events.
Data Management:
- Keep accurate records of all interactions with leads and customers in the CRM system.
- Continuously update and maintain lead information to ensure data accuracy.
Performance Metrics:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and qualification.
- Provide regular reports on key performance metrics and contribute to ongoing process improvement.
Requirements
- Fluent in English- a must
- Proficiency in other languages- an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree- an advantage
- 1-2 years of experience with sales tools, including [Monday, HubSpot, etc.]
- Proven track record of articulating product/service benefits and building rapport with prospects.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, presentation, and social media.
- Ability to identify customer pain points and accurately assess the value proposition for both the company and the customer.
- Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, independent, and with strong attention to detail.
