About the Role
MyHeritage is looking for a dynamic and innovative Onsite SEO and Content Specialist to play a pivotal role in our marketing team. This position places a strong emphasis on content planning, optimization, and creativity, with a specific focus on international SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SEO best practices and also brings experience in managing content initiatives on a global scale. Proficiency in English at a high level (not necessarily mother tongue) is a crucial requirement for effective collaboration in our international team.
What You Will Do
Global Content Strategy & Innovative Initiatives:
- Develop and align global content strategies with business and SEO goals.
- Drive creative content initiatives for diverse global audiences.
- Collaborate with diverse teams for cultural insights, localization, and exploring new formats and platforms for international brand presence.
Content Optimization:
- Conduct international keyword research and optimize content for diverse audiences.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices considering language variations.
Technical SEO & Monitoring:
- Collaborate on technical aspects for global site optimization.
- Utilize Google Search Console for monitoring and enhancing international search performance.
Content Calendar & Coordination:
- Develop and manage an international content calendar.
- Coordinate with global teams for timely content delivery.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor international metrics using SEO tools and analytics.
- Create and manage dashboards for informed decision-making.
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of proven experience in international content-focused SEO roles.
- Proven track record of on-page optimization and large-scale content planning and strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of international SEO, search algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog (or equivalent), Looker, Excel, and other SEO tools.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
- Experience in creating and managing performance dashboards.
