The Israeli Experience, a subsidiary of the Jewish Agency specializing in organizing and implementing experiential and educational tours to Israel for youth, students, and adults from around the world, is seeking a Tour Operator for an international youth leadership program. This includes seminars, conferences, summer programs in Israel, Shabbatons, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Managing client interactions to create and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Handling logistical bookings and coordinating with tourism suppliers: accommodations, transportation, meals, sites, etc.
- Providing on-ground support and ongoing operation for groups.
- Recruiting and managing temporary teams.
- Writing price proposals and budgeting.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and operational skills, preferably with experience in the tourism sector.
- Ability to manage complex projects from conception to execution.
- Excellent multitasking ability (Multi Task).
- High level of service awareness, excellent interpersonal communication with clients and suppliers.
- Proficiency in Office and Excel.
- Familiarity with Monday software is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Availability to work non-standard hours occasionally.
- The position is based in our Jerusalem office and may include travel across the country.
