A Global hair care and beauty brand seeking a Junior Copywriter
Full time position. Working hours 09:00-17:30.
- Ensure communications are consistent and on-brand for Professional Hair and Beauty divisions
- Prepare copy documents for promotional materials for International markets (deal sheets, POS, brochures, etc.)
- Edit Word and PDF files; mark/annotate changes for artwork rounds; promptly file completed projects
- Proofread and edit copy for primary and secondary packaging.
- Support the Digital and Education teams with e-blasts, blog posts, bios, website collateral
- Follow company policies in regards to OSHA
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of writing and editing experience with a brand in-house or advertising agency; packaging experience crucial, editorial experience a plus
- Native English / Native English level speaker
- Packaging experience required – strong advantage
- Ability to sharply proofread and edit English copy; knowledge of packaging best practices
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Reader (annotation tools mandatory) and traditional proofreading (symbols). Familiarity with Basecamp a plus but not required
- Knowledge of ingredients (INCIs) and familiarity with compliance and CPG best practices
- Experience working with foreign languages ideal; fluency in Spanish and/or French a plus
