Yaron “Yaroni” Eliezer Chitiz z”l wasn’t just a captain in the Givati Brigade’s Shaked Battalion-he was a beloved son, brother, friend, teammate, and the undisputed king of the Friday afternoon barbecue.

At just 23, Yaroni fell in Gaza (Daraj Tuffah) on December 26, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and deep connection-often shared over sizzling steaks and cold beers with his fellow soldiers and friends.
