Yom Hashoah: J’Accuse film premiere

The widely acclaimed film J’Accuse!, by Michael Kretzmer, giving a voice to Lithuanian Holocaust victims will premiere at a one-time showing in Israel on Yom Hashoah, 18 April 2023, sponsored by Telfed and the Wits Alumni.

Kretzmer will be in person to discuss the documentary’s message with the audience after the screening.

“…filmmaker Michael Kretzmer has made it his duty to look up close in a new documentary that exposes the depravity of the killing, and questions Lithuania’s Holocaust denial…” wrote Tali Feinberg in the SA Jewish Report.

The 2022 film, J’Accuse!, has exceeded all viewer expectations by winning more than 70 awards at film festivals around the world and is rapidly gaining global attention. People are outraged at learning the truth concerning Lithuania’s long history of lies, cover-ups, and distortions about the Holocaust.

For anyone with Lithuanian roots or interest in this important aspect of the Holocaust the film is a must. Having Michael Kretzmer at the film showing will be a real benefit to the audience.

Seats are strictly limited at the Yad LeBanim small theatre in Raanana. The event begins at 7:30 pm on 18 April 2023.
