Responsibilities:
Drafting and filing patent applications (provisional, utility, and PCT)
- Advising on IP strategy and invention protection
- Responding to office actions and managing patent portfolios across jurisdictions with client relations.
Requirements:
- Qualified patent attorney (licensed in at least one jurisdiction)
- a background in Physics, Chemistry or Mechanics
- Proven experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of AI, machine learning, software, and computer systems
- Strong technical understanding and ability to engage with inventors and engineers
- Familiarity with global patent strategy and PCT procedures
- English mother tongue level mandatory.
- We are open to working with patent attorneys, especially those with experience in the US, Europe, Israel, or other key jurisdictions including South Africa.
