Responsibilities:
Community & Social Channel Ownership:
- Plan, create, and publish content on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Grow the user community and drive engagement through structured programs and organic conversations
- Manage discussions, monitor group sentiment, and keep the conversation flowing with engaging, industry-relevant content
- Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to align messaging, track trends and competitor activity
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate tone.
Cross-Team Partnership:
- Monitor and report on customer feedback, providing valuable insights back to the Product team
- Translate product updates and new releases into stories the community can rally around.
Influencers & Advocacy:
- Foster relationships with top contributors, champions, industry professionals, and influencers in IT
- Run and expand Atera’s Champions Program, empowering advocates to shine
- Build and manage influencer partnerships that elevate Atera’s visibility in IT communities.
Requirements:
- You know how to connect the dots between people, content, and strategy, and you thrive in environments where you can own and grow something meaningful.
- 4+ years of experience as a Social Media and/or Community Manager (ideally in SaaS or IT).
- Strong creative instincts with great storytelling
- Native English speaker with exceptional communication skills crafting engaging copy and visual designs
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and report on key metrics
- Ability to align community strategy with marketing and business goals
- Strong collaboration skills — you can work seamlessly with marketing, product, and leadership teams
- Nice to have prior experience building advocacy or influencer programs.
