Staff for Special Education School, Jerusalem (June 2026)

Scope and terms of the position:

Meals included (fresh vegetarian breakfast and lunch prepared daily).

Starting salary: legal minimum wage (34.32 NIS/hour) + daily transportation paid.

Initial employment through the municipal organization Ariel.

Opportunity to transition quickly to direct employment with the municipality (higher salary and better conditions).

Real growth opportunities, including training to become a teacher with support from the school and the Ministry of Education.

Flexible schedule:

Morning shifts (until approximately 2:00–2:30 PM).

Option to work in the afternoon (until 6:00 PM) at the same location with another organization:

45 NIS/hour + daily transportation paid.

Possibility to work fewer days depending on availability.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for staff to start immediately after Passover at a public special education school located in Talpiot Mizrah (Jerusalem), on David Raziel Street, next to Ulpan Etzion.

The school works with children and young adults up to age 21, many of whom have limited verbal communication. It is a very special place, with a diverse team of Arab and Jewish staff, where there is strong collaboration, mutual respect, and a warm, family-like atmosphere.

The school follows an anthroposophical approach, with many outdoor activities, trips, and workshops (art, gardening, crafts, etc.). Each child has an individualized development program. It’s a meaningful and rewarding job that feels more like being part of a family.

Requirements:

No Hebrew required (basic Hebrew or English is a plus).
