Partnership Together and employment for Olim in Beit Shemesh

On Monday 13 September 2021, board members of “Partnership Together” met with Esti Moskowitz, the Director of the Employment Department of “Keren Shemesh”. “Keren Shemesh” is the philanthropic branch of the Beit Shemesh municipality. The discussion centred around employment opportunities for South African Olim in the Beit Shemesh-Mateh Yehudah Region. “Partnership Together” is a Jewish Agency initiative, which partners communities in Israel with Jewish communities in the diaspora. Beit Shemesh and Mateh Yehudah partner with South Africa. After the Chagim, “Keren Shemesh” will run a training seminar for a dedicated volunteer employment advisor for South African Olim. The volunteer advisor will interface between potential employers in the Beit Shemesh/Mateh Yehudah region and potential employees amongst South African Olim, under the expert guidance of Esti Moskowitz. Interested volunteers are requested to please get in touch with Aviva Tal Ohr, the Telfed volunteer coordinator, on [email protected]
