1. Teudat Zehut – a copy of your Israeli ID (including the paper addendum).
2. Proof of enrollment for the upcoming academic year. If you do not yet have this documentation, you are required to sign a declaration within the application form stating that you will submit the proof of enrollment as soon as possible. Your application will not be considered without this document.
3. Proof of personal income:
   • Your personal bank statements from the past 6 months.
   • Your personal salary slips/proof of income for the past 6 months.
   • If unemployed, please send us proof of unemployment from Bituach Leumi. Please note that this can usually be downloaded from their website.
4. Proof of your spouse and parents’ income:
   
   • Salary slips/proof of income for the past 3 months.
   • Bank statements from the past 3 months. Bank statements must include the account holder’s name.
   • If unemployed, please send us proof of unemployment from Bituach Leumi. Please note that this can usually be downloaded from their website.
5. Proof of address (only if not living with parents) – i.e. a utility bill in your name (e.g. water or electricity)
6. Military/National Service – IDF Release papers, IDF Exemption Confirmation, or “Sherut Leumi” completion certificate.
7. Proof of Southern African lineage*
   • Copy of Southern African ID
   • Copy of birth certificate
   • Ccopy of South African passport
   • Israeli ID of student or parent with place of birth
   • Copy of Teudat Oleh

Should you be found eligible to receive Telfed’s financial need based scholarship, it will require your attendance in an annual scholarship ceremony which will take place in March 2025.
