Telfed Delivers Snacks and Solidarity to Druze and Jewish Soldiers

Over the summer, Telfed delivered snacks to a 400-strong unit serving on the Hermon. Many of this unit come from the Druze community, serving shoulder-to-shoulder with their Jewish brothers.
The treats were lovingly packed at a volunteer evening in Modiin by our Olim community, a small way to show our gratitude and support.
We are proud not only to stand behind our soldiers, but also to stand in solidarity with the Druze community in Israel. Their fierce commitment to the IDF inspires us all.
Vice Chairman Debbie Dash shared about the visit:
“What struck me most at the base was how modest and old the facilities are, yet so many of the soldiers are there as volunteers. Although they are no longer required to do reserve duty because of their age, they choose to leave their families—both Druze and Jewish—to serve the country. Witnessing that commitment was truly heartwarming.”
After the holidays, Telfed received a request for financial assistance for soldiers who’ve been serving in reserve duty for over 500 days. Supermarket vouchers were purchased and distributed to those in financial need, thanks to the generous support of our community.
To every soldier, and especially to those in miluim who have put their lives on hold for hundreds of days, we are deeply grateful for your commitment to protecting us all.
Am Yisrael Chai!
