In partnership with Nefesh B’Nefesh, we invite you to join us at the Enav Cultural Center for a screening of the film “Leo’s Journey: In My Father’s Words” with testimony presented by Leo’s son Richard, in honor of this year’s Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day).
Special performance by Ori Wissner-Levy, Violinist from the Israel Philharmonic.
A rich chronicle of daily life in the Birkenau Hospital Camp told in the first person. Auschwitz Birkenau is a place of brutality and numbing normalcy of unending death, coupled with minute acts of compassion and kindness that allows Kalman and Leopold to continue to live for another hour, a day, a week. Reunited after 56 years – this is a memory for the world.
The event is FREE but registration is required.
